Purposes Rechecked

I was hugely blessed to be able to attend the Metro Church launch at the Gold Coast Exhibition Centre 2 nights ago. Guy Sebastian, Ps Brian Houston, Shaun Hart and Jason Stevens were all there in a truly magnificent evening.

The night started with the Metro dancers rocking to Arise by Planet Shakers. Guy then treated the crowd to All I Need is You and Out With My Baby. Next Ps Casey McDonald interviewed Guy, Shaun (former triple premiership winning champion with the Brisbane Lions) and Jason (the recently retired Cronulla Shark). It was truly a candid affair

It was a pleasant surprise that Guy then led worship with I Surrender All and In Love with Jesus. Ps Brian Houston from Hillsong Church shared the word.

The highlight of the night was definitely seeing the multitudes of people answer the altar call from Ps Brian, running their way down to the front. There is something so powerful about seeing people get touched and respond to God.

It really made me recheck and realise why it's so worth it serving God, cause I haven't seen people accept Christ as their personal saviour for what seems like ages.
